Endoftalmitis - Overview

Definición:

Es una afección grave que implica hinchazón (inflamación) dentro del globo ocular.

Causas:

La endoftalmitis es causada con mayor frecuencia por una infección con bacterias u otros microorganismos. También se puede presentar como una rara complicación de una cirugía de cataratas u otra cirugía de los ojos.
